Our website was originally created as an aid to the organisation of a Reunion of past Rusthall Scouts, Guides and members of St Paul's Rusthall Youth Fellowship - our first Reunion for 17 years.
On Saturday 24 September 2011, 108 not-so-old friends gathered in St Paul's Parish Hall, Rusthall - every one graced with the privilege of growing old disgracefully.
But our Reunion is now history, as is that which you will find on the rest of our site - "The Incomplete History of the St Paul's Rusthall Scout Group".
We are greatly indebted to
Johnny Conn
of the
Church Lads' Brigade Historical Group '''
author of
"Scouting for Church Scouts"
and Colin Walker, author of the
Scouting Milestones
website and
many fine books on the history of Scouting.
Colin is also a regular presenter on
Scouting Radio.

We are very grateful to them both for allowing us to include some of the remarkable fruits of their research in our "Incomplete History" - without this, it would be far more incomplete.
Our own research of Scouting in Rusthall has a long way to go, so please bear with us while it progresses.
